Fall 2015 Couture: Giambattista Valli

"He starts a collection with an imagined "extraordinary conversation." The talkers this time were Pol and Peggy Guggenheim. "Genuine eccentricity, in the DNA," he clarified." – via style.com

Fall 2015 Couture: Jean Paul Gaultier

I love this look from Jean Paul Gaultier's Fall 2015 Couture collection! I think it would make a killer villainess or femme fatale look (no pun intended?)

… Actually my first thought when I saw this look was of Bloodborne. I immediately thought of the Mensis Cage when I saw the headdress, but this whole outfit seems like it would fit right into the game. The actual inspiration for the various beautiful headdresses in the collection are traditional coiffes from Brittany, which are worth a quick image search.

Fall 2015 Couture: Ulyana Sergeenko

"Her new Fall collection, like all of them so far, tells a story about her native Russia. This one focused on Saint Petersburg's Soviet-era communal apartments, which saw once-grand 10-room homes divided among their once-grand mistresses and any number of sailors, peasant families, KGB officers, and army men. […] As sweet as that sounds, and aside from the occasional fur bonnets, it wasn't entirely innocent. It never is here. The apartment theme gave Sergeenko a reason to explore boudoir-ish pieces." – via style.com
