Crazy 4 Cult 4: The Case of the Redundant Number

Here is my contribution to Crazy 4 Cult inspired by the cult movie Donnie Darko::

Additional photos::

The Tangent Universe
9 x 12" cradled wood panel.
Watercolor, Prismacolor, India ink, and graphite.

I thought of the idea that Donnie Darko, functioning as the Living Receiver, had for a brief time "destiny" in his hands. The bunny, Frank, was his guide through this alternate universe dropping hints and clues to him; whispering in his ear, so to speak.

The opening line was pretty crazy (no pun intended, hurhur)::

And inside...

There is someone friendly in this photo. Do you see them?

Thank you to everyone, and the show is awesome! You can see the rest of the amazing art here online, or at the gallery space::

At the opening for Enchanté, a group show of French artists at the Gallery Nucleus.
