Crazy 4 Cult 4: The Case of the Redundant Number

Here is my contribution to Crazy 4 Cult inspired by the cult movie Donnie Darko::

The Tangent Universe
9 x 12" cradled wood panel.
Watercolor, Prismacolor, India ink, and graphite.

I thought of the idea that Donnie Darko, functioning as the Living Receiver, had for a brief time "destiny" in his hands. The bunny, Frank, was his guide through this alternate universe dropping hints and clues to him; whispering in his ear, so to speak.


The opening line was pretty crazy (no pun intended, hurhur)::
